Author say’s God spoke to Him

Today we have all kinds of people giving shout-outs to God, family and friends when they receive awards. Don’t get me wrong, I think thats great if its really true.  If these people really are thankful to God, I think its good that they thank God.  Now if their lifestyle would show thankfulness it would be even better.

As I read through the Bible I find it very interesting that right at the beginning many authors give credit to God.  For example I am reading now in Jeremiah and it says this:

1:1 The words of Jeremiah, the son of Hilkiah, one of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, 2 to whom the word of the Lord came…4 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying…

I think its awesome that the authors of the Bible say the words they speak are from God.

Snow Camp

Well tomorrow I am supposed to be speaking at a winter retreat.  Sounds like it will be a snow camp with the big storm that is supposed to hit tomorrow.   Its a good thing I got my 4×4 snow machine.  Mitsibushi Montero.   Who needs a snowmobile?  Okay I am still jealous of my dads.  Thanks for the montero though. 
 

 So what are you going to do if it snows?  Anyone going sledding?  Skiing or Boarding? Who’s gonna sit inside and play video games

 I will be speaking twice.  Once Friday night and then again Saturday Night. 

Pray for me. 

• Safety as I travel to and from Raystown Lake area.    
• Pray that they hear God’s words and not mine.
• Pray that God’s words touch their hearts.
• Pray that they leave changed by the power of God.
• Pray that I will be able to connect with the students.
• Pray for many ministry opportunities.  

Just thinking..about God and His word.

I have not posted in awhile and to be honest I dont feel like writing a long post.  So I’m gonna keep it short and sweet.  Last nights Overflow was great.  God was at work as He had Terri Sanders share her heart after my message.  I think the message was the main course and Terri sharing was the the rocking dessert.   Thanks for listening to the message and then to God speaking to your heart.   

The BIBLE is great.  I love reading it. The Psalms have so much in them.   You might want to check them out.  As I prepare for Sunday and “Love Untwisted” I thinking through the entire Word and how God contineously is loving man.   Its great.  The best love story ever.   

When was the last time you read in God’s love story?   When was the last time you lived out that love by loving others?
