Who do u like???

It is excited to have football back in full swing.  I don’t know about you but I simply love the game of football.  I can pretty much watch any team play.

Just so everyone gets this straight.  My teams are the:

1. Packers -Only because Aaron Kampman #74  is Nicoles Cousin. And yes I am fine with Brett Farve leaving.  I think Aaron Rodgers is good, but I am not sure that he can last the whole season.   
2. Michigan– When I was a kid we did not have cable and the only team ABC ever had on was Michigan.  I am also a fan of any NFL team that has Michigan player on them.  That is why I like the Patriots- Tom Brady– Graduate of Michigan.  Charles Woodson-Packer- and Graduate of Michigan.  I personally liked Lloyd Carr as Michigans coach.  
3.  I also like to support the local high school teams.

Sports Talk- What makes a man?

I love talking about sports with other people.  Get around a bunch of guys and one of the first things that always comes up is their favorite sports team.  Yesterday all of the pastors from our church went out for a little fun.  We played mini-golf and then went out to eat.  Doug beat me by nine strokes (He had a lot of lucky shots).   Guess what came up while a bunch of Pastors sat around and had a good time. Thats right, we had a nice long sports talk.  

At this point I want to take the time to mention the Phillies are 1.5 games out of the wild card and only 2.5 games away from winning the division.  The Packers have 2 wins and no losses.   Brett Farve looks like his old self as he is helping to lead the Pack to victory.  Aaron Kampman and the defense are putting a lot of pressure on the other teams Quaterbacks.  Oh and let me mention Michigan is not 0-3.  All you Penn State fans be ready for a good game.  I dont think we have enough to beat you but we will give you a good game.  

So here are some question/statements for you to think about. 
Does that fact that I like talking about sports make me a man? 
Does the fact that I ride a motorcyle make me a man?
If you dont like sports talk your just some loser who should’nt call himself a man!
If you like band more than sports you must be gay!
If your a man you dont cry!
The girl in your life determines the how much of a man you really are!

Are these statements or questions correct?  Are they correct culturally or Biblically? 

Tell me what makes a man?   What makes him think and act the way that He does?  What makes a man love?  What is the purpose of a mans life?
