Think deep and share what you think

This morning as I read through Ezekeil a couple of things really stood out to me.   First- the the thought that God wants to be known by man continues to stand out.  Sometimes God allowed some pretty crazy things to happen so that the people would know him.

So here is where things got really interesting to me.  Chapter 33 This passage brings up some very interesting things to think about. I understand that God was specifically talking to the prophet but does this apply to us as well.

7 “So you, son of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 8 If I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul.

Are we held accountable for those whom we come in contact with and do not warn about their need to repent of their sin?  Does a thought like this challenge you to be more bold in your faith?

Read tomorrows post to keep thinking deeper.
