My search for glow in the dark stuff got me thinking about Michaels and Youth Ministry. Today after my meeting with local youth pastors, I went on my search for glow in the dark stuff, for ChillsPort next Friday. I learned that there many place to buy a glow in the dark basketball and volleyball, but very few places sell other glow in the dark supplies. No ping pong!!! After searching for awhile I finally found some glow in the dark paint at Michaels. We will try to use glow in the dark paint to make glow in the dark ping pong a reality.
After only a couple of minutes inside of Michaels my head was spinning. You see the past several months I have been pondering ways to get artist involved in our ministry. We have a few ideas, but today Michaels took the possibilities to a whole new level.
If you work with teens you need to visit Michaels. Its time that Michaels and youth ministries join up to make youth groups a place where artist come to learn and grow in Jesus. Got any ideas on how to involve the artistic people in our ministry? Leave a comment.
