Another way to share your faith…
This morning as I read Psalms 32 I thought wow thats a great way for someone to share their faith. Most people would admit that they have sinned, fallen short of what God demands from our lives, so PSALMS 32:1-2 would be great. Check it out.
32:1 Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no deceit. ESV.
How can a man who has sinned against God be forgiven? How can my sin be covered? I dont want God to count my iniquity (our crimes against Him)!
- 1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Jesus took your sins upon His back. He died on the cross for your sins. You now need to repent, turn from sin and self and live for Christ. Only through believing that Jesus took your place are you healed/forgiven.
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Are you living your life so that God may be Glorified? Are you living your life so that others will know the truth of the Gospel?
Here is what its all about:
1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
